Academy player and Northumberland girl, Teodora "Teddy" Prisadnikova, was chosen by the LTA to represent the North of England in a 9&U match against Scotland last weekend, hosted by Sunderland Tennis Centre.
Teddy was one of 8 players chosen to represent the North in an event which saw Teddy play 2 singles, a girls doubles and a mixed doubles. She performed excellently and managed to win all 4 of her matches to help contribute to an overall win by 22 matches to 3 for the North of England Team against their Scottish counterparts.
Academy coach James Newman captained Teddy for Northumberland during her County Cup appearence in the summer: "We are very pleased to see Teddy has represented the North of England, she works very hard in her squads and shows a true love of tennis, which we hope she'll continue to experience. She contributed greatly to our Summer County Cup team, and I'm glad the LTA North team also benefited from her presence".
