Queen of the North

Academy youngster, Teddy Prisadnikova, 9, continued her excellent progress by being selected for the North of England to play a 9U tie against the 'Midlands'. Teddy was one of four girls chosen in a team featuring eight of the strongest players in our region.

Teddy played in two singles and two doubles matches and put in an excellent performance to win all four matches. Her performances helped secure a comprehensive 21 to 3 victory for the North.

John Loughton, LTA Performance Coordinator (North) said: "I thought it was a really good day for all concerned - great to see Orange tennis play in the way it was intended, using the all-court game".
