The NTA programme runs year round due to our fantastic 3 court indoor centre. Sessions can go ahead no matter the weather to provide the continuity that our players need to improve. We also have access, in the summer months, to American clay courts so help develop better movement skills and experience this established performance surface.

As well as on court training delivered through squads, individual lessons and hitting sessions we have always recognised the importance of a physical aspect to training within a young tennis players’ programme. Our strength and conditioning sessions have the goal of making our players more effective ball strikers and by creating more robust athletes we aim to keep them injury free during their tennis journey with us.

The NTA programme runs predominately Mon-Fri evenings but has the flexibility to utilise daytime and weekends to provide the most appropriate sessions for you. Summer holiday training is also a great way to maintain your fitness and consistency during the tournament season and around some of the events you may be competing in.

County training

The NTA is also the County Training venue for Northumberland as well as offering academy sessions to players from Durham and Cleveland and Cumbria.
